My name is Melanie Graves, and I am the Owner and Coordinator of The Chick In Charge Events. I’ve loved hosting celebrations for as long as I can remember. But as an adult, I quickly realized just how much happens behind the scenes to make a wedding go off without a hitch. It can easily get overwhelming and exhausting!
Back in June 2018, a close friend asked me to take charge of their day-of coordination. Seeing them completely relax and enjoy the day they worked so hard to plan was an incredible feeling. Their families got to live in the moment, rather than stress over the details—because they knew I had it handled. It takes a specific kind of person to ask the right questions, stay flawlessly organized amid potential chaos, and keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes. I started this business to be that person for you.
